Sorry to jump in here :D
But slightly related problem.

Is there anything software wise - that will tell you if the immo is off or on in a .bin .eep file (ecu dump) may or may not be EDC15.

Thanks

George

Hello. on EDC15 with 5 plugs (I think C7 revision) from an Alfa 2.4 JTD immo is stored in 29F400 or on eeprom?
I have a Galletto 1260, VCDS, Opel Scanner and OP-COM.
I can read eeprom with VCDS in blind mode and minimon? Needs boot mode (pin 24 at ground) or works in normal mode?

Thank you,
Ionut.

Just to keep that topic up to date: I've had the client with Kia Sorento 2004 2.5 CRDi EDC15 and was able to completely disable immo in ECU flash (eeprom keeps untouched), the same way is it is disabled in cars made for Korea itself. However they usually also have cruise control disabled, but my method keeps cruise working.

The same worked for Kia Carens 2002-2006 2.0 CRDi. I think that this also must work for other Kia/Hyundai cars with EDC15 blocks.

Is that true to remove immo in flash ?

"fill with ffs from 7cc5a to 7ccc5 then correct checksum tested working on 2 cars"

I am sure thath the immo can be removed from flash because one time tuner has prepared remap from other car
and when i installed it on my car no immo problems. He did not have my original file.I think there is some adresses the fill wit ffff
and when the car is remaped the BSI is coding this ffff with code.Am i wrong ?
