You can also find map packs or damos .. it will help in recognizing areas.

so what's the benefit of checksum?... i thought the checksum introduce parameters

Your ecu will not work if the checksum is incorrect.

checksum is created b yall the data within the file.
The ECU checks the data within the file and calculates a checksum.
If the calculated checksum does not = the files checksum...the remap wil fail.

I want to buy a software to show me the name of maps and units of parameters...

You can use Swiftec (built-in) or Winols with OLSx - map pack (produced by www.olsx.be)
