WinOLS in VirtualBox - Update warning

The latest update (4.2.10) for VirtualBox stops WinOLS from running within a virtual machine.

A dialog box pops up when you attempt to start WinOLS saying 'Enigma Protector - This program cannot be run on a virtual machine'.

I rather regret installing the update...

Yep this is crap. Bad combination does a lot of damage.

This problem also exists with VMWare Workstation FWIW

If you're running VMWare make a change to the .vmx by inputting this line of code in:

isolation.tools.getVersion.disable = "TRUE"

I have the same problem, so I install windows to VHD and everything work :)

Why bother with VM's ? Winols 2.24 runs perfect on Windows8 64bit. Unless of course you're running Linux or OSX :thumbup:

FWIW, WinOLS 1.5 works in VMWare with no issues :P

Appears to work fine in VMWare Fusion 7.1.1 on a Mac..
