So i have this mk4 golf. that had a blown AGR engine. I was able to swap over to an ALH engine from a different car (Octavia) but kept the original AGR wastegate turbo, since the ALH one was siezed.

Now i tried running original golf ECU (assumed the engine other than the turbo type was the same) but it looked like i was wrong, because it ran like ass, especially in idle. I suspect the ALH engine also has different injectors and VP pump.

So i then tried Skoda's ECU (with IMMO disabled) which runs much better. Also did the hammer mod to smooth out idling.
But i suspect the turbo doesn't work properly, if at all, because i'm assuming the skoda's ALH ecu expects a VNT turbo, but now there's a wastegate turbo on it.

So my question is this; is it possible to modify the ALH map to run with a wastegate turbo?
A basic stage1 tune would be great too, if doable.
