Hello tuners! I've joined this group as I'm curious to learn about tuning a vp37 injection pump id like to retrofit to an engine that currently has mechanical injection.

I'm guessing it's probably a bad idea as it might be over my head to find an ecu and tune it to my engine's needs but I'm still curious to learn about what would be required.

I have a 1991 Mitsubishi Delica L300 with a 4d56 motor.

Overseas they went to an electronic injection pump with this motor that's very similar (if not identical) to a vp37. Hyundai makes this motor under license from Mitsubishi and calls it the D4BH.

I'm looking forward to learning from you all as I try to figure this out. :)
