Hi,

I was as careful !
In the laboratory, I have made with a discarded, but fully functional EDC15C7 this experiment.
I replaced the 29F400 BT 70 by 29F800BT 70.
Also important is the addition of "BT - Top Boot)" and the time of 70uS should also agree.
Connected to pin 2 (A18), and the pin 12 (chip enable).
This one need a flip-flop (eg. HEF4013B), so you can switch under load.

All attempts have yielded nothing, because obviously the boot matrix of 29400 is different from that of the 29800. :( I have no solution.

I have then two 29400 soldered directly above the other, and at pin 12 (chip enable) via a logic circuit (HEF 4013 and CD 4071) driven.

So it worked out.

WTF?
Have you ever had a single look into the EDC15C manual at all?!?!
Mine clearly says that there are two turbo maps for ordinary driving and for sporty driving and that the system calculates a value between those two.
For other maps, it is completely well explained how the ECU behaves and why it uses them at all.

Why nobody has a SINGLE look into the " Software-Funktionsbeschreibung EDC15C B079.CC0"?
Especially when it's freely available and explains completely everything about the function of the EDC15C?!?!?!?

Why does everyone simply WANT to keep on guessing?!?!!?

Tell me which section of the manual you need to explain and I will gladly help!

Is it "3.1.6 Wunschmengenbildung" or some other?
Or "3.1.9 Begrenzungsmenge
Die Begrenzungsmengenberechnung ermittelt gemäß folgender Abbildung die zum aktuellen
Betriebszustand passende maximal zulässige Einspritzmenge."?

Or 3.1.9.1 Rauchbegrenzung?

For example, the image is just the calculation of idle speed, not the control of idle speed, but a calculation of how much should it be!

So, what would it be?

Are you thinking on proper boost pressure control to allow in more air? There is a whole section on that!
