Hi, a first post hello here from me in the UK. Clearly a forum full of information, way over my head at the moment, but you never know maybe one day I can add to the knowledge here.

After reading back through my previous post, I felt I should add a little info about my motivation to join up here. I recently bought a Mini One for my wife, and have since learnt that the Cooper has an identical engine, but with a throttle that is programmed to open fully, our one after 4k reduces to less than 50% ! It's no wonder its flat up top.

Ok maybe the wrong place, and probably a stupid question but, with the engines being the same, is it a viable option for me to read a Coopers file, and then put it on my car ?

Is yours just a standard mini one? As the coopers are supercharged aren't they? I would have thought there'd be a fair bit more difference than just a throttle map but as long as it has common parts then it's viable to put the cooper map on. Probably better to tune your standard one to your liking though.

Thanks for the reply, yes mine is a standard Mini One, the Cooper is identical mechanically to the One, the S is the forced induction model.
