In this file, where I find maps of the EGR?

How do I turn?

Thank you in advance for your help!

hi,
i know 2 whys to turn off the EGR in at PSA EDC16C34 engine.
1. you have to find the 'bypass hysteresis maps' and make them into 0. 2 times 12x1 maps
2. The EGR is actually only enabled above 0 degrees. you can change that making it not funktioning under 120 degree. 10x1 map

thats right, solution is very elegant.
But the approach is not OK in case of short circuit of the EGR.

There is no need to change amount of air when disabling EGR ?

I have found a way to cheat the EGR operation on a Citroen/Peugeot 1.6 HDi engine with EDC16C34 ecu.
The maps in question are two 8x1 linear maps that adjust EGR control depending on outside temperature. EGR duty cycle is reduced during cold weather, and with those maps you can completely turn it off through the whole temperature range.

After this mod the EGR duty cycle shows 0 percent, the idle air flow has increased and there is no DTC about that but since this is only a cheat and not a true switch - the EGR valve must be connected and operational.

You can find the two maps by following simple instructions:
Go through all the driver wish maps, untill you see a EGR map (I've attached a picture). Then go to the next map, found by winols (16x16 replacement air data) and a few lines after that you will find a line 00008 (number of axis values), with some temperatures following it 2331 - 3131 (with 0.1 factor and -273 offset it means -40 up to +40 degrees) with values ranging from 64 to 128 in the map. Set all 8 values to 0 in both maps (one after another) and you will get 0 percent EGR duty cycle without any DTC.

Good luck
