where to start?

Hi,

really want to get into tuning standard cars and writing my own maps.

Where do I start? I can't really find any books on petrol/diesel tuning and it seems to be a bit of a black art

start with I want to unleash the true performance of my Audi a8 4.2tdi.

Is there a similar tutorial for petrol cars?

I would also like to learn about dpf removal.
