ECUSafe DPF removal EDC15C2 - Remove DTC's?

Postby dackjaniels » Fri Apr 26, 2013 8:14 am

Hi,

I have a Peugeot 307 2.0 HDI 110 RHS.
Some time ago I sent the file to a mapper who removed the DPF using ECUSafe and I used Peugeot Planet to turn off the DPF in the BSI.

I am now, many months later, having some trouble with low boost but am surprised that no error codes are being logged in the ECU, a scan with PP shows no codes at all relating to boost.

What I'm wondering is whether ECUSafe could have mapped out DTCs from the ECU.

Any ideas?
All posts I have read so far say that ECUSafe works fine for EDC15C2.

Thanks

If you have low boost there can be many different issues.

Check out the pipes for leak,
check out the vacuum valve if it works - you can use one from the egr to switch it.

If car worked fine so much time than you can not look the issue in the mod.
Ecusafe works ok for edc15c2, so that is not an issue.

cheers

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

All I'm wondering is if ECUSafe might have mapped out the error codes from showing in Peugeot Planet, I'm not suggesting the mod is the reason for the low boost (though I still can't find the reason after lots of searching).

I did a comparison in WinOLS between the original file and the DPF_off file and it came up with 22 changes. Does this sound about right for a DPF_off?

Thanks again.

I have a post about EGR off in the EGR thread and it would be great if you could have a quick look when you have time, thanks.
