307 ecu not found by pp2000...?

Postby nipper76 » Sun Feb 03, 2013 9:01 pm

hiya.
i plugged pp2000 into my Ex's car today but it would not reconise the ECU.
kept saying it was refrencing it. and that the right ECU isnt in the car...??
so i cant access the Engine ECU so read any faults etc.
It reads the VIN and the other features like the BSI.
but just wont access the ENGINE ECU...?
Confused.... Help please...

would it help to maybe update diagbox..?
im running v6.01 and that scans my car fine : Pug 307 110 (51)
and the exs car is Pug 307 90 (53)
so it is newer... could this be the issue..??

if this could resolve the issue... is it ok to update through the diagbox online updater... as i see there are updates there, i just didnt know if it was ok to use them...

also... i didnt think you could scan the car with the engine running...??

but, if my interface wasnt working or compatible with diagbox, it shouldnt scan my car should it..?
have seen diag 7.04 is out, so going to try and download that at some point and see how that runs.

Hi did you get connected to your RHY engine of your 90 bhp 307 ? Are you using Peugeot Planet 2000?
